This is a heartwarming story, told and adapted for the screen in a subtle way. the opening will get you on edge, but then it falls into ... Jane Eyre. Trauma and love and hardship and a 700 page story onto the big screen.
If you take any young female in today's society and tell the story, it may just as well be as intricate and intense as this Jane Eyre adaptation. The actresses filling the Jane Eyre roles did put on magnificent performances.
The audience's demographics were as expected. The theatre only half-full (empty) as expected for a classic story such as this. It was a decent film, but lacked much climax. It was heartwarming for the full few hours. Don't miss work or sleep to see it, you can always wait for Lifetime to air it on the television in a few years.
Jane Eyre will pull 3 out of 5 Cyclones for giving the viewers what they want, without much more.
