Bridesmaids Empty

Yes, Yes, Yes. This chick flick is The Hangover meets Hall Pass, for the ladies. There is more female poop, vomit, foul language, drug use, and sex in this one. The guys that were in the theatre (with their ladies) left with smiles and an empty bucket of popcorn.

All the actresses were superb. The improvisation of lines in a movie is always prime material for some genuine laughter. We got it. What we don't get is a real unique story. But we do get an extra half hour of movie that could have been cut without much loss to the overall enjoyment.

With the type of summer movies coming out, this is a perfect "follow up" to Hall Pass, and precursor for "Hangover II". This is a must see chick flick, and not one for the kids. If you enjoy potty humor and any sort of wedding, wedding planning, bachelorette party, or genuine fall out of your seat laughter...get to the next screening or theatre when this is released. If you want a "Jane Eyre" type of story with some depth to it, well just wait for "Jane Eyre" on DVD.

"Bridesmaids" fulfilled its purpose of humor and plenty of fun. It lacked maturity and depth. Stick around through the credits for more storyline. It will pull 4 out of 5 Cyclones.
