The Golden 1 Credit Union and Iron Mountain are pleased to host a FREE community event to help curb identity theft. Help ensure your confidentiality by having your old and unwanted documents securely destroyed under the watchful eyes of All Phase Security.

Iron Mountain will be on site to safely destroy your personal papers, CDs, DVDs and floppy discs.
All shredded items will be recycled.
Afterwards, head over to our shredding party featuring free refreshments, a visit from Goldie and music from KNCI!
The shred event will be held at:

The Golden 1 Operations Center
8945 Cal Center Drive
Sacramento, CA 95826
(Near the corner of Watt Avenue and Folsom Boulevard)
9am to 1pm
Saturday, April 30, 2011

State Workers Information from www.MembersVoices.Org

Attention SEIU Local 1000 Members:

Join us in electing state worker leaders who commit to:

PROTECTING OUR RETIREMENT SECURITY
When politicians talk about pension “reform”, we must remind them that one reason we joined state service is retirement security. We worked hard and we were promised security for our families. We intend to make them keep their promise.

TRANSPARENCY WITH UNION BUSINESS
Members must have easy access to union information. The union budget must be easy to read and understand. The books must be reviewed thoroughly and the results announced.

REAL REPRESENTATION THAT WINS FOR MEMBERS
We must win valid grievances instead of simply pushing paper. Stewards, the backbone of our representation program, must be supported by top-notch professional staff.

CONTRACTS THAT PROTECT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY’S FUTURE
Our members have done their part and sacrificed to help our state during the economic downturn yet politicians want to continue to balance the state budget on our backs. We say no more! It’s now time to stand up and we need new leaders to lead the way.
We encourage you to VOTE for the “MEMBERS’ VOICES” Team

Our Candidates for Local 1000 Offices

Tim Chaney For Local 1000 President

Kathleen Collins For Local 1000 Vice President & Secretary-Treasurer

Janea Williams For Vice President Organizing and Representation

Ed Perez For Vice President Bargaining
