A bit tardy, yes. But paying to see the movie makes me a bit more partial to paying attention to it.

Jake Gyllenhaal does another standard performance. Something to enjoy, but nothing to write home about. The story was a bit "holey" in that things were wanted and negelected by this viewer. The action and acting was all standard to well done. It was like "Jarhead" and "Jumper" meet "Groundhog Day," my apologies to the quality movies for the comparison.

Gyllenhaal is in the military, inserted into a project, does his job, and is terminated. The action and life surround him.

This mediocre review is about all the movie can muster. "Source Code" will pull 3 out of 5 Cyclones for being enjoyable, but falling short in the final cut. It is worth the time and money to see in theatres.
