Here's my reason for why the ending wasn't as good as it could have:
The whole movie roles on the premise that Clyde is this ubber BRILLIANT mastermind that our all mighty government call on when all of the James Bond spies can't take care of a job. That being said, how the heck is it that he isn't even smart enough to place an "ALARM SYSTEM" in his tunnel?!?!
I mean come on....the guy can put a bomb into a Razor phone & he doesn't even remember to at least place a laser-land mine at the entrance of the tunnel or something to warn him that somebody had been in there. And what's up with covering the hole with a car? Did he ran out of money to buy a metal plate & some dirt to cover it up? Did he got too lazy or tired from digging all that dirt to put up a security system?
Like I said, ending could have been thought out better. Felt like they ran out of people to kill so the writer took the easy way out & end the movie quick and simple. The movie was 2-hr & the ending was like literally the last 10-min. The guy didn't even bother to put up a fight in the end. Don't ask me how it should be played out. I'm not the one being paid big money to write a movie script. Just a movie fan that's contributing to help future movies be quality entertainments.
Again, the movie was good....ending could be better.
