Ok, I give in. I must say it was a well done kids' movie, well done 3D animation, and it had a story line.

The voices were well done for almost every character (sorry Angelina - a no go) and the it isn't all together necessary to see the first installment to be able to enjoy this second one.

The focus on teamwork is positive for the kids. The 3D imaging will bring kids and adults together for an amazing visual experience. The "new" stories are told to fill us in on some of the history of the story and characters.

The downside is the bi-polar feel of the film. We go from extreme highs to extreme lows within a matter of second. We are bounced around from story to story, but they end up working themselves out, together. The laughs are abundant and the action was clean and clear. I do expect an animation Oscar nomination for this film. This and Rango are the best so far this year. Kung Fu Panda 2 will pull 4 out of 5 Cyclones for a good time, even at 10 in the morning on a Saturday.
